The picture is of a 10 round group fired through Andy, my first AR-15 build. Not into a can, but an old refrigerator. The top three shots were aimed through the side trying to hit the compressor (the fridge was upside-down). The other 7 were rapid-fired. The range was about 30 yards sighted through a 3x9 powered scope.
To give an over-all size, a .223 round puts about a quarter-inch hole in things. Impressive...
